Password Managers

How password managers can reduce the risk of becoming a victim

Online shopping, internet banking, email accounts, video streaming services, and social media – the list of accounts we have is endless. Re-using passwords across multiple accounts makes us vulnerable – if that password is leaked online, then all of our accounts where that password is re-used can be accessed by criminals.

Remembering multiple passwords is hard, let alone remembering which password is for which service. Password Managers can help with this. They will create strong, secure passwords and save them either on your computer or in the cloud (depending on which one you go for) meaning we don’t have to write them down or try to remember them.

Your passwords are used in the same way as described in the Passwords section on this website, however the password manager will automatically create something strong, providing us with that peace of mind.
