Cyber Basic Review

Designed by our colleagues in the Eastern Region (ERSOU), the Cyber Basic Review is a basic set of cyber specific questions designed to encourage and expand your thinking around the network security of your business.

The CBR is a brief introduction to the topics you will need to consider to gain Cyber Essentials accreditation. Although we can’t offer the Cyber Essentials accreditation, this is a great way to snapshot your current readiness if you’re thinking about going for it.

Even if you’re not, the CBR is a great way to understand where your business or organisation could improve its cyber security.

The CBR is intended for use by micro and small businesses. Whilst other size organisations are welcome to use the CBR framework, they may also benefit from looking directly at the Cyber Essentials question set, and NCSC’s 10 Steps to Cyber Security.
