In April 2021, The Regional Economic Crime Coordination Centre (RECCC) was created within the existing- North East Regional Organised Crime Unit (NEROCU) structure as a direct result of the 3 North East Police forces ambition to evolve and develop our regional approach to the threats of economic crime including fraud and cyber crime.

The RECCC looks to provide information and advice around the threat landscape of economic crime within the North East to the people, businesses and organisations of the North East.
